Last Post of 2011 - year end wrap up

When I look back on this year, I can't believe what a busy year it has actually been. At times, I wondered what I actually got accomplished and if I was just spinning my wheels. Turns out, I was more productive than I thought! Here is just some of what went on in our lives this year:
January:
Started the 12 month bag challenge, but only made it one month when this bag almost did me in!

Spent fighting the heat and garden pests, but enjoying the backyard.

We traveled to Connecticut for my cousin's wedding,

and to visit my family.

And of course, no trip is complete without a day in New York City!


I ended the month with a trip to Texas for "A Wicked Tea"

November:
Doug and I traveled to Omaha for Rachel's wedding.

  1. Happy New Year! You sure were busy in 2011. I love the bag in the first picture, but it sounds like it gave you quite a challenge. I was just thinking today about sewing up some handbags to help reduce my fabric stash. Aprons are just so much quicker and easier. Neither will get done if I keep blog hopping. Just want to wish you and yours and happy and healthy new year.

    You really took tons of great trips, a mix of family, friends, love and art.

  3. It looks like quite a year for you and Doug! I don't know how you can get much more squeezed into a year like last year!

    Hopefully some of your time is spent with all of us at the Paper Crown in 2012!
