January's stash and a snow day...

So, I promised a few pictures of the Stash I received from A Gilded Life's Stash Club. So, on this snowy, January day, here they are:

I'm not sure you can appreciate how lovely these goodies are, but I can assure you, they are fabulous!

Now I just need to not be afraid and go ahead and actually *USE* my goodies to create something beautiful.

I need to just remember that there is more goodness to come. Get over that feeling that I've had since I was little that once something was gone, it's gone. Life is abundant and there are plenty of other beautiful things for me just around the corner.
I *am* going to use the day to create. We got some snow overnight - nothing compared to what my family is dealing with in Connecticut, but nonetheless, there is some snow on the ground. That means I don't travel too far from the house. I'm scared to drive on slick streets even though I have a very good 4 wheel drive vehicle. Better for everyone if I just stay home.
I'm going upstairs to work on my bag for this month's challenge. Wish me luck!

  1. Oh My Goodness! It looks fabulous I wish I would of bought the subscription. Oh well I have so much already to work with that I need to use some of it first. I will just drool over yours. Can't wait to see what you make.

The free motion sewing, you will need a free motion foot. You can use your machine. Go to your sewing machine store and ask for a free motion foot to fit whatever kind of machine you have. It is really fun and I can't remember how much it was. They aren't very expensive though. Good luck and let me know if I can help you get started.

Have fun today creating and staying in your warm house. I think you all got more than we did down here!

  2. yes, use it up! i have that habit i'm trying to break of saving things but i know it's best to USE THEM!!! have fun with all those sweet looking goodies! :)

  3. Lisa I did see that Jenny had the shoe in her collage! Thanks for letting me know anyway!

  4. look forward to seeing what you make with the goodies.

it is always best to stay home if ur afraid to drive in our nasty weather. Even if you know what your doing the good folks next to you may not!
